Assessment

THEPA’s approach to assessment is grounded in rigorous, independent business psychology.

We combine a carefully selected suite of psychometric tools with an in-depth, structured assessment process to build a comprehensive understanding of an individual’s behavioural patterns, decision-making style and leadership capability. Typically conducted over an extended one-to-one session, this enables us to move beyond surface-level evaluation to identify how an individual is likely to operate across a range of contexts.

Every assessment is bespoke. Our reports are designed to address the specific questions surrounding a given appointment — whether relating to role fit, leadership potential, cultural alignment or future performance.

We assess individuals against a defined set of leadership capabilities known to drive success, while also providing insight into the underlying motivations and values that shape behaviour over time. This ensures decisions are informed not only by what an individual has done, but how they are likely to perform in the future.

Typically, THEPA’s approach to development builds directly on the depth of insight generated through assessment.

Rather than generic coaching, our work is grounded in a clear understanding of an individual’s behavioural patterns, leadership capability and underlying drivers. This enables highly targeted development, focused on the areas that will have the greatest impact on performance.

Development sessions are structured, focused and practical — helping individuals refine their strengths, address specific challenges and apply new approaches in real time. The emphasis is on translating psychological insight into sustained behavioural change.
